Entries (including but not limited to books, films, music, games, podcasts, and performances) are considered public data. This site retains and utilizes such information to facilitate the free flow of data and serve all users. Adding or editing an entry is regarded as a public domain release, thereby waiving copyright claims.

User-generated tags, notes, comments, and other posts related to entries are considered personal data and are published under the CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license by default without further explication. This site provides export and deletion functionalities. A user’s account ID (including login email address, user ID, instance domain, internal instance ID, and user ID/name on third-party services, as well as identity key pairs) is necessary for identification. For the integrity of services provided to all users, some identification data may not be fully removed when processing deletion requests. Requests to delete personal data will be transmitted to adjacent nodes according to the ActivityPub protocol. However, due to the distributed nature of the federated network, software version compatibility, and technical complexity, this site cannot guarantee complete deletion across all network nodes.

Users who log in to this site via third-party websites should note that revoking authorization on the respective third-party site will not delete their data on this site. Users wishing to delete their data must use this site’s deletion functionality.

The IP address used for login is considered non-essential identification information and will not be retained after temporary use, except for security, performance, or legal requirements. This site may store a small amount of data in browser cookies and local storage, which is necessary for using its features. This data will not be shared with third parties.

This site does not implement end-to-end encryption but will protect user privacy to the extent possible based on the social relationships set by users within the federated network. However, due to the distributed nature of the network, software compatibility, and technical constraints, privacy protection may not be fully comprehensive.

This site will not engage in profit-driven activities using public or user data without prior notice. User data may be used to improve site services. Users may reasonably use public data from this site for non-commercial purposes. The use of other users' data requires their consent.

We may modify or discontinue certain services at any time for performance, security, or other reasons. We assume no responsibility for any impact resulting from such changes.
